Every student who enters DCTS has an unique personal story and individual needs. Many have:

  • Low self-esteem
  • A fear of learning
  • A defensive nature
  • Anger and depression
  • Short attention spans
  • Few positive role models

 

  

Of the students we serve, many:

  • are court-involved
  • have AODA issues
  • have been abused verbally, sexually, or physically
  • have a history of truancy
  • are credit deficient
